Your hosting company is bound by US laws. Their defense for hosting illegal content is the DMCA, which allows them to claim that it is your responsibility (the end-user's). This is the entire point of DMCA: exempt service providers fro

If your hosting provider is a US company, you might be wrong about this law not applying to you.

I agree to some extent, but if the user is on a free account it seems complicated. You are asking Cloudflare to review sites on a case-by-case basis, evaluate legal documents, and potentially open themselves to legal risk, all for a non-pay

I am not sure what you are talking about, doesn't sound like Debian/Ubuntu package maintenance.

The value of Debian/Ubuntu is that there are people vetting and packaging and testing software. If you remove that and have AI do it, there isn't much left.

I had to scroll way too far to find this. All the arguments for RST are about how much more expressive the language is, how much care was taken in making it an abstract document tree. Yet there are simple trees you can't encode, even c

If you're privacy-focused, you should run your own recursive resolver. Running your own authoritative server doesn't help much with privacy if clients still go through centralized recursive resolvers to query your domain.
