I meant programmatically. The admin can also text me every time he revokes a certificate, but the point of CRL/OCSP/... is to not do that.

So if I'm not using Chrome or Firefox, how do I check for revoked certificates? This just makes the web less open again.

That doesn't seem right to me. I can define a function returning "void", and it can terminate. I would expect that a function returning an uninhabited type can never complete.

How rigorous are the tests if faulty data can brick the machine?

Don't they all "allow receiving emails from your prod env"? They all speak SMTP. What am I missing?

A few others (last I looked, mailhog was the best option IMHO): - https://github.com/maildev/maildev - https://github.com/Nilhcem/FakeSMTP - https://gitlab.com/markbeeson/mail

I don't get it. You put in multiple options, it picks one randomly. No?

What's the finesse? How is this better than Math.random?

Is that a "bite"? I have wished for this for a long time.

Right? From the name you'd assume it's either some sort of missile, or a famous OpenSSL vulnerability (heartbleed, specter, etc). I'd feel weird picking a protective app called "crowdstrike".

Interesting! Thanks for that. I guess most servers and consumer endpoints are fine, and those are driving all the traffic.

I can't wait to see the CloudFlare traffic report after this. All those computers going down must have affected traffic worldwide. Even from Linux systems as their owners couldn't run jobs from their bricked Windows laptops.

There are similar products for Linux. My organization runs Cortex XDR, it has a kernel module. Had a few calls with them to figure out its features and how it would impact the systems. They didn't even know.

Not sure. We're currently using GitLab wikis a lot, oddly enough. Obsidian is nice but start time on mobile is bad too.

Acknowledging that AI is unreliable, the solution is to layer another AI to hopefully let you know about it. Of course, brilliant, why did I expect anything different from the AI industry.

Notion takes 15s to load to an empty page. Then another 5 to dismiss the popup about new AI features and the like. I'm glad they are making their app faster, in the meantime I (browser user) have cancelled my team's subscription a

Isn't Servo a new rendering engine for Firefox? How does it fix all of Firefox's problems, that are not engine limitations? You can make a free web browser from Firefox's current engine just as easily as from Servo, I would f

Is there any reason to believe that the Servo project will produce a full independent browser, rather than a browser engine as their website states? The only likely outcome is that it be used in Firefox...

"Full-stack engineer" is usually a job title or career, I find it weird to introduce oneself as a "17-year-old full-stack engineer". Is it just me? You certainly have the skills but can one be an amateur professional?

That's funny, I too made a phone-buzzer app to watch Jeopardy with the in-laws. All it does is pause the video on the laptop for 10 seconds when someone presses the button on their phone, and show their name. On the plus side it works
