Hezbollah are also terrorists. You might think it is ok to fight terror with terror, all I am trying to point out is that this is indeed a response in kind.

Yes I'm assuming not every Lebanese is a terrorist, which seems to be problematic to some. In particular 8-year-old children are probably not.

Whatever words you're reading when you look at mine might be incredible, what I wrote is almost 3000 wounded in the crossfire, including children. You're ignoring that and pretending they're accused of something else. Why?

Those are completely unrelated. K8s does not provide client rate-control and FAIR does not do load-balancing. It appears you misunderstood what this is.

I'm not exactly sure what you propose, a token bucket per client? In a hashmap client=>bucket?

Knowing the bias is not knowing exactly how often each results come out... it is still probabilistic...

I'm not sure what you mean by "randomness would be predictable". For example, it is possible to do this if you know the bias.

Does it take a fixed long time or a long random potentially-infinite time?

Many libraries still have an "ask a librarian" service, though it is usually an online chat. Those have not gone away with the rise of search engines. If you're a student or researcher, your university almost certainly have o

Yes that works too. Thanks! Though this relies on registrar publishing their own, and some don't. I meant that some other authority could publish them all, if they are known. edit: It seems like {tld}.whois-servers.net is exactly that,

Why can't I change the port of my database server via an environment variable? This would be required for e.g. Nomad support. If this is a goal, why is it a goal for only half the configuration?

Why not put these .env variables inside the checks.yaml config file? What is the advantage of two config files with two separate syntaxes?

I would add that a huge selling point is the on-demand aspect. You can get VMs/containers/functions running in a few seconds. This is great for experiments, bursting, etc but if you are using compute capacity for a year, it should
