Very impressive Maarten. I especially like your localisation efforts! The unique URL's fitting for each language are amazing. Do you feel this is a big boon to spread fast? Are you yourself a good speaker of those languages, or did you ask

Buying stock drives the price up of said stock, allowing the company to reap more money per share when it wants to sell more shares on said secondary market, and also allows it to get better deals on loans and future funding rounds. It migh

Sponsors pulled out because of the controversy, the contract for the venue had to be signed and the organizers weren't sure they could find more sponsors to fullfil the financial obligations. There weren't many options left but to cancel.

Apparently the non-profit conference had thus far a 100% white male line-up and got a lot of negative tweets about that recently. Example: https://twitter.com/joshsusser/status/269863520135421952

Ah I see, sorry I misinterpreted. I think the routers where you can flash your own linux on, and run it as a server, might already be able to do so. Other than that I think they innovate too slowly to be a significant competitor to AdTrap,

Not sure if having a boolean value where "null" and "false" mean two different things is a good idea. Sounds like a source for a lot of bugs in business code and SQL.

Maybe, like jacquesm, it's my lack of experience in retail, but doesn't "money gone missing" show up on the books quite easily, especially after a quarter? You sold X, so you should have Y, except there's only Z (Z < Y). Or, if they did

For a real business, $169 is peanuts. If it's $9 a month or $169 a year, that won't make any difference for a professional app developer. I'm sure you've heard of the Adobe products with price tags of around $1000. That's the price tag th

Three points: - Selling SaaS is very new, and almost still a "niche" especially for consumer software like Sparrow. Software without subscriptions is still 99% of what the consumers buy. It's definitely a viable market. You can't just take

Are you seriously suggesting that as long as anyone has been working on something for years, that we should accept what he says without looking at it in a critical way? The enlightenment must have passed you by.
