"Mouse usage is obligatory. You cannot use the acme editor, for instance, without frequently taking your hand off the keyboard." - in my opinion this is a disadvantage and I wonder if this can be improved and if so, in which way.

Thanks for your long post. That is really scary! I will still try to get Skype constrained with apparmor. At least I will know that it will not siphon the data through the file interface. I am wondering if Wayland will be more secure by des

Absolutely agree! It's even more true for closed source software like Skype - to be able to prevent it from accessing to data it doesn't have to. I know there are many alternatives to Skype, but there are people that have to use i

I tried T440s exactly for 3 days and sent it back! Lenovo just screwed their trackpoint/trackpad experience (and part of keyboard as well). The virtual buttons do not work on Linux out of the box. Had to buy a refurbished T430s, with w

Thanks for your detailed answer. So anybody living in Catalonia, with Spanish nationality will be able to vote. What about native Catalans living outside of Catalonia?

How does it technically work to distinguish Catalans from Spaniards? Do you have in your passport a distinct nationality? Or do you have to prove that you live in Catalonia? Or is there another way to make sure that only Catalans vote?
