Perhaps ruining specific parts of Europe, but I think it’s unfair to say tourists have ever ruined an entire country or even city. Usually there’s just small easily avoidable areas if you don’t want to deal with crowds and overpriced food.

The problem is if you shut down these sites you’re only making it harder for people like Erica who now cannot make money on the side to pay bills.

I wouldnt really mind either way. Why do you need the doctor to be there? How would that change anything? You’re still going to die, why waste the doctors time by forcing them to drive over and deliver the news personally?

I see comments as sort of a fallback when I don’t have time or can’t think of a more readable solution to a problem. I believe this is the rational presented in the “clean code” book

This is a bit of a snowball fallacy no? Those horror stories while sounding plausible are not a necessary outcome of this. I suspect they’re not going to learn as much as you may think from cameras in the soda aisle. I think they could actu

I never understood the 'don't give a number first' law from all these blogs. If I know the upper bound of my potential salary, why wouldn't I throw out that number (or a bit above) and try to stick to it? What's the

Don't see the big deal about yet another screen/ advertisement platform, especially in a public convenience store. The fact that 'it watches you' is a creepy for sure, but don't forget they've already got video

I disagree somewhat. If the goal of a project is to teach a different skill and it may cause too much of a headache to add a real server this service might make sense. It’s like when you’re learning a new spoken language. It’s better to pra

You're right that crypto is pretty useless for people like you and I who have access to high quality bank services. But to people who don't really have access to legitimate bank services they're a godsend.
