I sold a motorcycle over craigslist a couple years ago and I would have much preferred to have the buyer send me bitcoin instead of giving me stacks of 50s. I wasn't able to demand a cashiers check and I wanted to make sure the sale wo

iAWriter Saves files to markdown on iPhone and syncs across iCloud. I wish it could sync with google drive or dropbox, but it's the only good markdown editor I've used.

Same! I even paid for an app (something I never do) just because it supports creating markdown files on your iphone (ia writer - I don't work for them I just like their product)

I would recommend volunteering even to people who aren't wealthy. It has to do with what you said, most people who volunteer are doing so because they have the money to do it instead of work at that moment. So, volunteering potentially

There was a part that mentioned how one of the soldiers identifies with the child protestors, and how a high ranking officer mentioned if he were a Palestinian he’d be a terrorist. I don’t think it matters, they are basically just doing the

I’ve been pretty out of the loop in crypto but I am so anti Justin Sun. He’s obnoxious, attention hungry, inarticulate, but with enough money that none of those negative traits actually matter to people. The BitTorrent acquisition was sort

It’s not possible to predict the future, so I disagree with your stance that it was obvious a virus could cause an economic downturn like this. It comes across as victim blaming to me.

Non tech, but leadership related screw up for me. I started a surprisingly popular motorcycle group ride. Around 20 people show up to the first ride and I'm a bit nervous. I forget the route pretty quickly and we all get lost and separ

Arguably you shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket, i.e., you'd split it up across many wallets. But I agree with this sentiment. Banks exist for a reason folks, holding your entire net worth in btc across a few thumb drives

If you feel trapped in Heroku or Netlify and you have a somewhat technical background I wrote an article recently on how to escape them using a DO droplet and Nginx. $200 a month seems high to me for what it is. https://medium.co

More opportunities for wealth, women, power. More social interaction. Ego stroking. Getting a message out there. There’s a lot of great reasons if you’re the type of person who enjoys these things and can handle the pressure.
