I hate LinkedIn from the bottom of my heart. It’s absolute crap, just utter crap. It’s exactly where all the LLM, SEO, “LeadGen” spam goes to and comes from. Social networks are awful but I think I despise this one the most.

Putting that aside, don’t you then agree ventilation in public spaces is useful for obvious health reasons?

Are you actually insinuating there still isn’t a pandemic going on or am I misreading your comment? I don’t see how this couldn’t possible be anything but beneficial in public places.

Of course it would feel normal for a Swede. The taxes are outrageous. LE: Your income tax is ~47% over 60k/yr just so everyone knows what we’re talking about.

To add to that: get some younger friends as well. As someone pointed out in this thread, the group think that forms in same-age groups can be downright dangerous.

I do think there's a fair bit of selection bias. The vast majority of people growing old have not spent their lives learning; while enchanting to look at the 60-70+ year olds that are undoubtedly exceptional (think Warren Buffet or the

I don’t doubt your experience and what you do at your org, yeah that falls into a bit of a different category since you use kubeapps. I guess what I’m saying is: in my experience across many organizations, helm is indeed treated more like a

I’ve been doing this for about 8 years and have seen a few hundred clusters at dozens of orgs, been using GitOps for the last 4ish years. Invariably they all involved using helm as a package manager to deploy off the shelf infrastructure wi

I don’t mean for this to sound condescending or dismissive, BUT if you don’t think Helm is primarily a package manager you haven’t worked with infrastructure deployed in k8s much.

I tried doing this recently for a number of spam and phishing websites and all registrars/hosts refused my complaint on the basis that it’s unfounded. And yet valid businesses are booted out and deplatformed every day. This is such utt

That’s like saying communism works because all you have to do is distribute the wealth equally right? It may look good on paper but in practice it always becomes a target and it’s considered a failure if you miss one. If it doesn’t work in

I wonder if we’ll ever grow up as an industry and get over these MBA-enforced buzzwords like OKRs, SCRUM, etc. It’s just sad to see so much energy from so many smart people poured into this crap.

Exactly, this only made me feel sorry for the people working there. Weekly updates by naming and shaming every team member would cause me so much anxiety even if they were just internal. I’ve been on SRE/infra teams my entire career.

10 quid a day?! That's ludicrous. I don't live in the UK but I do wonder: is the infrastructure there truly ready? And does the average car owner think the whole charging time debacle is there as far as every day workability goes?

I’m not extremely well versed in the topic so forgive the ignorance: how does this differ from AWS Aurora’s offering? is pricing or scaling different. It’s not immediately obvious why you would want to use this instead.
