Perhaps.. but Dropbox is not without its own issues. I tried diligently to get Dropbox after hearing statements like yours. I signed up and added my dataset, 600GB of ~670,000 objects. It never would sync, used 10GB+ of memory while "

It seems to me at the point you decide to hire an entire team you are entering the contracting model instead of building a team per say. Just outsource; it's more flexible with fewer issues than integrating a new team.

Maybe. A few thoughts: 1) Automobile efficiency has moved dramatically since the 70's and that's due to government regulation. That regulation continues to push the industry as a whole. 2) The regulation goes beyond automobiles,

I've read plenty of traditional manufacturers working on self-driving cars too. They just don't seem to be as visible as Google/Uber/Tesla etc. I've been following Audi for some time. [1] [1] http://www.

I wasn't sure what to expect from the title but I agree with this post more than almost anything else I've read. Carving people up by gender, race, religion, just divides us more, even if it's to solve a problem just divides

I too used Be-os in the late 90's. Our application was a stand alone internet browsing device. Lots of potential in the OS that was never realized, maybe if Apple had bought it over Next. Today, I don't think we need another und

I have a two-year-old, five-year-old, and seven-year-old. All boys. These are my personal opinions. I find that treating them like people instead of subservient goes a long way. I.e. a bit of latitude in their own life goes a long way.

I believe you misunderstood my point/opinion. The original comment stated a murderer (alleged in this case) is tried and found innocent of Murder by a court of law and then, due to this ruling, may take down information to the extent i

I used to live in SF near a camp at 10th and mission. I saw the homeless daily; it's very sad to see and people just walk around them. I moved out of SF because it is so damn expensive and I didn't have to be there. $275 million

This was rumored to be coming for some time. The most interesting part to me: "Vestager said the EU might also need to take a closer look at Google’s behavior concerning maps, travel and restaurant reviews."

Blockchain technology goes far beyond "currency" replacement. Most of the new ICO's are using it for varied applications that benefit from its distributed and verifying nature.
