This comment is so unbelievably on-brand for HN it's hard to tell if it's parody or not.

Looks great! There seems to be a bug with dates (maybe timezones)? I'm in the central US, and just created a task with a date of today (Nov 13) -- it shows up as "Yesterday".

Yes, that's essentially the point being made here. It's a fair comparison if your intent is to run this kind of job as quickly as possible.

I've seen some companies try to get around these by using the phrase "To change your email preferences..." rather than "unsubscribe". I think "email preferences" / "notification preferences"

Agile requires trust to work. Without it, the process will quickly devolve. Low trust is the problem, not scrum. Trying to be agile without trust is like trying to bake bread without yeast. You go through all the same motions, but in the en

You (and maybe GP) seem to be assuming that a SINGLE competitor would theoretically try to replace SAP and fail. But the most likely scenario, I think, is that built-for-purpose competitors will build products that peel away small pockets o

Forget HAVING -- in my opinion RANK is the most useful SQL function that barely anyone knows about. Has gotten me out of more sticky query issues than I can count.

This looks pretty cool. My main question is: what would I have to do if I require an AWS component that is not supported by this tool? What is the developer experience of having to include a CloudFormation stack alongside this solution? Ask

The company responded [1]. With no other context, this honestly seems like a reasonable mistake, and it's one they corrected. Still one for the recruiter meme history books. [1] https://www.scmagazine.com/analysis/

I honestly don't get the value of this tool. If I already have a parametrized set of Terraform scripts for creating an environment, what is stopping me from spinning up and tearing down my own ephemeral environments in my CI pipeline?

For the same reason there's no "M" in FAANG. This industry has PTSD from the old Microsoft of the 1990s and 2000s, and isn't open to giving the new .NET a chance. It's a shame really, as the modern .NET stack /
