The funny thing is a lot of people think the company they work for cares about their wellbeing. When you realize they don't care about you, they will feel it. And your pay will go up. I guarantee.

Love this Tim Cook quote about why they aren't in the US: The U.S. labor market "began to stop having as many vocational kind of skills" If the incentives were there, you'd have those football fields full of tool and die

My high school had the foresight to have a media literacy class 20 years ago. I never looked at an advertisement the same after that.

It does not make sense that this person is attempting to run a reasonably priced restaurant and has FOH staff. SF needs to adopt more Japanese style ordering machines. You choose and pay up front. When you are done you just leave. It's

Fantastic answer because it highlights how these conditions can be overcome by changing your situation. Clinical methodology for treating depression in Sweden is to change the person's living / work situation as a first step befor

The Touch Bar is the perfect example of marketing people hijacking the product to push sales without helping customers.

Sounds like economic contraction to me. I don't see how Huawei has anything to do with this.

I don't understand why there's so much resistance to having everybody save a huge amount of money while at the same time allowing everybody to be healthier. Boggles the mind.

Strange Apple doesn't push their own tech for this. They could include it in Messages and release on Android. For Android there would be a store button where you could see all the new stuff from Apple and buy an iPhone. Would do a serv

Lately Siri gives me an error when setting the timer. But upon inspection has actually set the timer correctly. It's equally infuriating and comical.

Firstly, he's alluded to lack of manufacturing skill many times. After all, imagine how difficult it would be to teach American's skills. This argument holds no water in my opinion. Just say it's because of profit margins. An

Tim Cook loves the narrative that it's impossible to bring manufacturing culture back to the US. There was an article a while back about how lazy people were on the Mac Pro line. How is Tesla able to succeed? Something doesn't add

Look at Sweden and Denmark. There's very little table service. The future is not decent wages, it's less service. And I don't see that as a problem. Other than very high end places, there is almost zero value add to a waiter.

Fantastic idea for tech to try new ideas in housing and health care. Two sectors of the economy that are increasing inequality and driving lower life expectancy. With all their wealth and resources, the lack of focus on these basic issues i

I've forgiven Apple for many small issues over the years but the touch bar is simply unforgivable. Beyond cost it is simply poor design. Keyboards are not meant to be looked at.
