This sounds like a really evil item. Are the devices going to be labled as "subsidized by Bitcoin" or is Qualcom going to secretly include it with every SoC? Are we going to be able to turn that thing off? I really don't li

Only updates we may be concerned for are BIOS ones with our full disk encryption compatibility with Check Point. None of our systems have any HP software so we don't need updates for those. We also control updates like java, flash, a

Not really a genetic lottery, though some places in the world make it a lot easier to succeed and become rich. Being born or move to any of the western nations will greatly increase your chances. But the person also has to have a will to

Find out what the median salary is for the position you're applying for and basically just make up a number you want because they'll probably raise it 5% with an offer. I've done it in the past to get what I want rather then

Patents for software are fine as long as they're complex and specific. But if you file a patent on some generic functionality that is already widly used and then go after users, there is something very wrong with this system.

I agree. When we hire sysadmins, we look for folks with experience using various products and weigh in extra bonus points for folks who are also SecOps. We could care less if a person knows how to code. That's what we have the devel
