Yes, what you are impling is correct. Forgot to mention that we have a 8kw solar system on our roof. I updated my comment.

That is rude. I care about the environment, still I am mining. How is it good for the environment? I only mine when my house and battery does not need electricity and our solar is producing over 1kw. Everything I earn (around 100-300$ a mon

If did understand it correctly, it can be used to auto deploy a container on an ssh host, start the cli and once you exit, it will clean everything up. This would be very usable for developing certain things.

Yes but everything "self-made". Been working like this for years now. Also have arch + i3 + openrdp dev containers which work awesome. Even with multi-monitor support. The only thing missing is gpu acceleration. Then it would be p

I think especially in developing countries e-sims will be huge. They save cost in the end for phone manufacturers and cell providers. It won't take long until low end android phones will have e-sim only options aswell. Maybe u are righ

It is very naive to think it will stay this way. Now that Apple made this move, cell providers in any country will be forced to provide e-sims to stay in business. Apple has such a huge influence it won't take years but months even if

Awesome, thank you for the clarification. It still looks like it would favor Amazon products but this can indeed be a coincidence.

I agree. Maybe my comment sounded a bit harsh. Let me rephrase it. It is totally fine for me, if there are affiliate links. You have to pay the rent somehow. However, if it's the site's only focus (excluding products because there

Do not trust product recommendations with a focus on affiliate links to Amazon. I only checked best Laptops. There wasn't a single Laptop which was not listed on Amazon. Case closed for me. However, I would really like to build this my

Yes and no. There are some differences which make vscode superior to tmux/screen, ssh/fuse or rdp/vnc/nomachine based solutions. - incredibly easy to setup (only a browser is needed) and use everywhere. Even management c

I do not understand your view point. This does not make "Keet" bad software. It is actually a good idea regarding decentralization. So why the red flag? How does this "pump" the value of crypto? A pump always refers to a

It always depends on the use case. A good example for an application being better because it is web-based is vscode. With code-server the possibilities are almost endless. This was revolutionary for me as a developer.

This, every single article I have read so far is missing this VERY important piece of information. I am still mining ETH and it is still profitable. I mine with 4 1080s and I do not pay for power. However, if I would have 200+ gpus I would

Pretty easy, OP sounds exactly like a guy who would have been perfectly fine with a single (Hetzner) server. Then these arguments popup and they are most of the time right. I agree with you, that it always depends on the use. However, hurr
