Mass spec (at least as of a few years ago) require reference spectra to identify compounds. Without them, you can guess at structure but it's not accurate.

Etsy seems generally to have some tech issues. I bought a couple of things on their site a while ago, but have never been a seller. Somehow I keep getting emails intended for sellers in France and other places, trying to coordinate shipment

The head movement of birds is a mechanism for depth detection since they do not have binocular vision. By moving their heads back and forth, they can determine distance based on the rate of size increase of an object. See for example: http

Requiring login and claiming not to sell PII look contradictory though, and will prevent some people (me for instance) from using your service.

Cool, since you took my advice how about the free test? :)

Yes please remove that. If you are not selling PII, as you said you were not, then you don't need a login.

Just a site comment:I might be in the market for a home sleep apnea test, but yours has so little information about what it is, how it works, and how it was qualified that I wouldn't consider ordering it. By combing through your FAQ I

To what degree can current ML models and techniques for self-driving understand what's happening based on data captured at multiple time points, maintaining object permanence? For example, if a a car is stopped at a red light and it se

Apple's Maps navigation already does something like this. I much prefer it to any other that I've tried. No more "500 feet". Instead it says things like: "Go through this light, and at the next one, turn right."

It's not weird, it's the same idea I had back in the 1970s, but at that time things like retroviruses weren't known or understood. Now we know about endogenous retroviruses, and yes, they have infected everyone (going back mi

Right, in classical QM. But in superdeterminism unless I'm really misunderstanding, they are basically saying that there are no probabilities at all because everything is predictable given the initial conditions of the universe, if you

I don't see how one's lack of knowledge can cause lines to form differently (different interference patterns). If anyone has any more insight into this, please do weigh in.

Not following. If everything is predetermined, there are no actual probabilities except as an artifact lack of knowledge of what the outcome must be. If that is the case, how can the probability amplitudes interfere with each other?

It seems that can't be true, because if you randomly decide after the particle is launched whether to measure it or not, the interference pattern still appears. So it's not the measuring that does anything in superdeterminism apap

I've heard the interference discussed as an "interference of probability amplitudes". But in superdeterminism, it seems as if there are no probabilities in that sense, or am I missing something?

I got a bit lost at the double slit experiment with superdeterminism. Can someone clarify what is supposed to be going on? * We send one photon at a time through a double slit, don't measure them, and an interference pattern is formed,

Nearly every major manufacturer has a separate emergency stop system that continually looks for an obstacle in the vehicle's path and applies braking force, overriding the driver and any cruise control or self-driving that is in use. T
