If the technology actually works then the companies would burn less fuel, and save money in the process. That should be an effective incentive.

There is a chain of individual steps that need to happen to create the final product of hydrogen fusion, helium. One of the crucial steps is the production of deuterium from two protons. This step is incredibly slow and limits the rest of t

The action of a trajectory is not minimized either, it is usually at a saddle point, maximal relative to some trajectories and minimal to others. The linked paper has a detailed discussion of this. http://www.eftaylor.com/pu

Actually the lagrangian is not minimized, it is merely stationary. An example of this is the harmonic oscillator, the lagrangian is clearly not bounded from below.

My grandparents definitely don't have a multi million dollar home. Not even a million dollar home. That doesn't stop property taxes from really causing them problems. As I said, they are quite poor.

At high frequencies the skin depth of copper decreases and the signal is confined to a small amount of material, which provides a high ohmic resistance to the signal. So for copper there is always a maximum frequency for the signal thus lim

This is one of the (many) things Philip Lubin has looked at. The momentum transfer from photons is far too low. However this can be partially fixed. A laser can vaporize part of the trash and then heat up some of the vaporized material, eff
