No actually. The mass doesn't leave the earth.
- TeMPOraL 8y agoThe mass leaving the surface and entering orbit around Earth doesn't change the location of the pair's center of mass.
- astrodust 8y agoIf it affects rotation, which it will to an immeasurable degree, it'll affect the orbit, though I doubt by less than an amount we could ever measure or simulate.
