I guess you missed the /s at the end. As the perfect program runs on top of buggy hardware, OS, libraries, VMs, etc.

You are partially right. It is completely possible to write in JS/Mongo systems as robust as Ada/Oracle|DB2|SQL Server. You just have to know what you are doing. There is no magic in Ada, Oracle, etc. Node and Mongo are moving hun

Most people you know maybe. Most people I know are quite foolish themselves and repeat whatever their favorite TV station has brainwashed them to believe about the global warming.

US is no longer the center of the world. EU and China have comparable industrial capability. Maybe OP's idea will work for them.

The conspiracy hypothesis is that the oil people have long ago acquired controlling interest in the auto corporations. Via foundations, funds, banks, etc.

Not at all ridiculous. The company I consult with currently has 5K programmers, another 10K information technology staff and 48K sales people in branches. Their site moves more product and brings more profit than the branch network. Actuall

I'm not trying to defend anyone. Russia is as evil as the US, it just doesn't have enough hardware to do as much damage. The man in space flew on a rocket initially designed in Nazi Germany.

Russia is a small country (as population and industry) compared to US and EU. It cant afford to reinvent the way a modern society, government, media, etc. works. The state propaganda machine is a direct copy of what the US and especially th

This is far from the true most of the time. In my experience the only places where pay doesn't mostly depend on skills/smarts/effort are government and to a lesser degree the big monopolies/oligopolies like Comcast.
