Hehe, crime, kids, etc. are just excuses to grab more power and create a totalitarian surveillance state.

Remember the people who send polite emails to their competitors never get to build empires like Microsoft, Apple, Google, Oracle or Amazon.

Who is 'they'? You don't even need Iridium, a shortwave radio transmitter will suffice.

Yeah, but then it has also around 10K other features, most of which you don't need. Most Java developers won't be able to become Scala masters by 2018 anyway, if at all. On the other hand C# has even better generics than this prop

>> Yes, you are right that life originally started as asexual reproduction and sexual reproduction appeared later No, that's a hot research topic. E.g. a popular hypothesis is than in an RNA world very early and simple organisms

You obviously are not familiar with the semiconductor industry. Binnig has nothing to do with price differences.

You are assuming the banks that sold had different owners than the banks that bought them.

The international banking system was the biggest threat to the freedoms of the colonies from before the Revolution until 1913. With the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 the banksters gained full control of the country ...

The problem with pills is not immediate efficiency, but keeping the weight after stopping the pills and side effects (such as increased probability of cancer, weakening of teeth, joints and bones, shortening of telomers).

Because all your "arguments" are extremely stupid. You're just trying to make stuff up, instead of saying "Hey, I was wrong".

Well Russia hasn't annexed any whole countries either :) Plus it's military is killing way less people, doesn't mass deploy depleted uranium weapons (as far as I know), isn't made of lunatic "Christian Knights"

Spot on. Many other reasons as well. There are powers that want to see Norway join the EU and adopt the euro. Norway is selling a lot of services (oil and gas related, software, electronic government, finance) to other countries. A run away

Actually the CIA has an office in downtown Oslo, operating under the cover of Radio Bravo. Very well known in the Scandinavian security circles.

Which is a very funny statement, if you take into account the dozens of countries the US has invaded in the last few decades.

Great job rg3, thank you very much for your work! Do you think DRM support in browsers and major tube sites will soon prevent tools like youtube-dl from functioning?

That's right, usually the best quality audio you can get from youtube is in m4a format. The only problem I'm having is youtube sets the format inside the m4a to dash, which some stupid players (including iTunes) don't want to

I may be racist or something, but I don't trust software written outside of US, Europe and Australia. I know Samsung now has labs around the world, but the important decisions are still made in Seoul. In my humble experience those guys

The logic is that they have already lost the knowledgeable, price sensitive customers. Raising the rates would allow them to extract more value from the rest, e.g. old people.

It really depends. E.g. if you're a rockstar dev, you can afford to piss whoever you want, as long as they deserve it. Making the right enemies is also a very important social skill.
