Pretty sure microservices will be remembered as a horribly convoluted stop gap once we have better language modularization. They encourage modular patterns which is usually good, but all that plumbing will eventually become unnecessary. I c

In your FAQ you have an entry “How much does June cost?” which uses a lot of words to avoid answering what it costs.

Honestly, some work environments are just shit. If you don't have a sizeable stake (co-founder), start looking around. If however you find the same situation repeatedly at different jobs, then you're either 1) too critical, 2) you

I don’t think our government will let interest rates go up. It should have happened a decade ago, but they kept lowering them instead (and watched the bubble grow). It’s political suicide at this point to do it in any meaningful amount.

I’m trying to find a way out/ hedge our economy (Canada, similar to U.S. except we can’t print money to get out of it). I have a sinking feeling that either the idiots over leveraging themselves on bubble priced homes will get bailed o

Yeah when I clicked into the comments I was hoping for a discussion on the ethics of hiring a firm to trash talk unions (for or against). Instead it’s like the Google 50c party arguing the merits of unions. I’m uncomfortable with companies

Thing is, a lot of white collar jobs have always been performative. They just don’t need 6-8 man hours a day. They require very little actual production. It’s collective psychosis.

There are more than enough users aware of search to support a fledgling competitor that managed to deliver higher quality results. That competitor simply doesn’t exist yet, and I think that’s because no one has figured out how to beat Googl
