Also sometimes when adults try to pull kids towards something, they may be trying to validate their own life choices and pathway. Just like a parent getting his kid into football, always remembering that he lost the playoff game.

The solutions are usually only found through struggle and problems. Look at all the inventions and how fast things evolve when a society is under the ultimate external pressure -- direct warfare. Look at WW2. We got to fairly accurate missi

Knowledge and societal changes are just an extension of evolution. Obviously the results of a large expansion are somewhere in the range of population 0 to a bit less than now.

So if a country has laws written by democratically elected bodies - and people break those laws, they shouldn't be imprisoned if the law calls for it?

Remember that a site like this only exists in the sphere of US hegemony. If we lived in NK, Russia, or China and debating decisions by the government... whelp that wouldn't exist there. Wrong and right are not absolutes.

So the premise of your argument is that millions of Ukrainians across all swathes of their society have somehow been duped into a political stance, and then a huge war. Do you realize how that makes no sense?

Why have they fought so hard against the Russians if they were "being used as fodder"? Why does Russia get to decide what happens in another country, by using force and missiles etc? Sounds like you're completely wrong.

Yup to reduce it down as succinctly as possible - it's an escape. It makes doing nothing enjoyable.

Ok so lets figure out our problems first and then move on. If we go too soon we'll bring all of our standard problems.

Yeah in a billion years. We should figure out the common issues (tragedy of commons, etc) that will follow us wherever we go -- before we try to leave. A billion years is plenty of time to focus on that.

You think leaving earth is the solution? The only place we've evolved to survive on.

Most will probably come from non-major cities and towns so I doubt it will be a problem. CCP knows they can take stuff pretty far. Probably only food production and fossil fuels are their chokepoints.

Evolutionary part of the brain to always be looking for obstacles or issues with what's happening in the moment. Clearly humans who were more laissez faire, got eliminated either by nature or society. Same here. Aerobic exercise, as a

Tbh I just play FPS's like COD2/3 and Warzone because they keep the quick decision making and reflexes up. Only like 1hr at a time. Sitting and playing some random story-type game for 50 hours seems like a complete waste of my tim

That last part - was trance/prog house always like that? Or did it start more underground and organic in 1989 onward until the mid-90s where it became very commercial and then went to the next level with someone like Tiesto?

It's pervasive in Berlin from what I see, understand, and have read about the 90's. Realistically it's not a pervasive fabric of even a place like Detroit. Most people in Detroit don't even know that techno is "from

You both explained it very succinctly. I don't get why people have to grasp at depictions of history that simply aren't true. They want to believe that Jeff Mills and Belleville 3 somehow created this new music from nothing and in

No I believe for all standard app engineers in HCOL locations like NYC metro and SF metro. Top banks like GS I think are even a bit more. But WF etc are 200k-280k, confirmed.
