There was an article on HN of a writeup from someone that pulled this off recently. I think the post was probably someone in the neighborhood of 4-6 months ago. I don't recall the company or the person that was targeted though.

I have no idea what your agenda is, but trying to say that removing all references of the companies former official motto and mixing it in at the very end of a sentence of their core of conduct somehow makes it "more prominent" is

I guess I'll just point out the distinction.. there's an obvious gap between writing code and writing pseduo code / logic structures. And there's nothing wrong with whiteboarding pseudo-code.

Removing the company's unofficial motto, and mixing it in with a random sentence at the very end is 'more prominent'. Hmm.. I'll believe Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia, before I believe that. Also using &qu

publicly traded companies do not have to be evil. investors often enjoy investing in companies that they can relate to. one hopes that most people ascribe to do no evil. a+b+c is not a bad combination in the end, i agree it's a symbol.

This is definitely something everyone has been waiting for. The only question I have is.. why? One generally hopes that everyone is out to do no evil, including those that do so unintentionally. So why remove something that's been so

This is why I like the GDPR. If you can't be bothered to care about people's personal information, then maybe you don't need it in the first place.

I didn't say this was how science works. I was asking the question whether this was already the existing theory. I mean what is science if not deduction based on observation?

While it's nice to have more evidence, isn't this mostly accepted from just following general anthropology? E.g. - homo-sapiens are considered smarter than homo-erectus and neanderthals despite having smaller brains .. evolution
