+1 to the meetup issue. Thankfully, most meetups in NYC are in Manhattan or near-Brooklyn. Most times it'll be a 30 minute passive commuting commitment anywhere you go, so it's definitely better than bay area. I lived in the East Bay, and i

I'm maybe a bit more n00bish than most, but I don't get the usecase, and the examples don't really explain it either. Anyone want to enlighten me? Is it just a way of writing an app in JS, and having something else translate it for whicheve

Super excited to see this concept. I had a prototype of this style of idea last year, but decided it was tertiary to my actual passion (video). Wish you huge luck! Would love to sit down and debrief a part of this you might attack later, na

For me, I honestly can't see how that's supposed to comfort you. They're gone from you now. It doesn't fucking matter if you're going to see them again, because the hurt is all about the actual data that you currently have. I can't wait to

Seriously +10000. When my brother died, people would say that a lot to me. It's extremely common in my culture (Mormonism) and I even believe it, but that's something that you need to say to yourself, and not have others say to you. When ot

I have a huge dream about multicast, but on the public internet, it doesn't happen. Most of the time it happens on private IP networks (think FiOS TV, Uverse, etc., though i'm not sure if they use it.)
