You said you’re buying from an unauthorized reseller because you don’t want to pay what they ask for. If you don’t agree with their prices that’s totally fine. But then why use their products? You want to use them but you don’t want to pay

So basically you just want the functionality without paying for it. > they overprice and they forget people use multiple plugins People who complain about the prices also forget that a lot of these plugins take months or years to develop

Without a doubt it’s easier. But don’t we have more tools than before? Don’t companies & organizations have more employees/developers than before? Why are we getting less with more? I feel like there were higher standards in the jq

I miss people caring about compatibility with older browsers. People even used to care about people who disabled JavaScript. Nowadays people seem to not gaf about older browsers. They somehow want everyone to be on the bleeding edge. What h

It’s not completely different, it’s still mostly the same language with some big additions. If you read their dev blog, you’ll see they fixed a bug that was also present in php a few months ago.

They have to. I mean, google wants to sell ads. If the service (google search) was crap, less people would use it. Kind of like bing or the other search engines that barely anyone uses outside of a few tech circles. It’s not perfect but goo

I made a similar comment a few weeks ago on another post about another site shutting down. It’s so sad how the internet has less and less “independent” sites and instead more people and organizations are just relying on the big names (YouTu

Apple has been using + way before Disney. Apple care+, iPhone 6 Plus and I’m pretty sure they had another plus product or service in the 2000s or earlier that I’m forgetting right now. Edit: it was the Mac plus from 1986. I’ve always associ

There’s always (at least in this era) going to be a market for a could-based saas. Most companies are more than fine using a solid HTTP API and a lot of people (I’d say the majority) just need a nice ready to use web client. So I think they

I love the idea/concept. I think it could gain more traction if you didn’t use the term hate and instead went for something more like “an alternative to python” or something like that.

You should use bing. It’s chatgpt-4 and it’s miles better than chatgpt-3. Bing even searches the web for answers. My only issue with being is that it’s extremely sensitive and will end a conversation for the most ridiculous things. But it’s
