I imagine they said something similar about ditch diggers and buggy drivers when the combustion engine came along. There is a strong relationship between improvements in technology and improvements in human development. All boats rise with

I agree that a lot of forms of employment will eventually be automated. I'm more optimistic, however. I think labor will just evolve, just as it's done with every corresponding evolution in technology.

That's not my conclusion. I'm sorry for you if that's the way you understood it. I'm certain that basic income would also be supplemental to other forms of income. Your second point is not even in the same ballpark wit

Basic income seems to come from the right place from people that support it. I do think it's misguided benevolence, though. I hope that largely removing adversity and creating dependence aren't viewed as trivial changes here. Pe

Agreed with your first point, but not sure about your second - how many of these attacks could really be dented with uRPF? My understanding is the majority are either distributed (coming from multiple ASes) or from compromised accounts in

Egress address verification? Are you referring to RPF, or http://www.bcp38.info/index.php/Main_Page ? uRPF is a challenge. In some cases, the consequence is flows must route symmetrically through a given network. Th

Thanks! Just looking at this makes me feel for network operators that have to troubleshoot layer 3 addresses directly and without DNS. There needs to be a better approach - like an intelligent clipboard.

A lot like today. Half-in, half-out at most. Applications are the key driver. I could see this if IOT really takes off - autoconfiguration and unique addressing are the attributes that would make IPv6 the only compelling choice. That sai

I would imagine that in some cases this eventually leads to obesity, which then becomes a self-perpetuating cycle. Those with obesity are more likely to have sleep apnea, which disturbs sleep even further.

Agreed, but I think there's more to it. The tech industry has a lot of turnover in general. I would imagine that turnover is only aggravated when you throw in short term contracts and a high demand for cleared individuals.

Am I reading this right that leak lasted 2 hours? These are often the result of mistakes. Even if OMZ were a tier 1 provider in RU, the impact would still be limited - I can't see how this could be intentional.

Why canola oil? Peanut butter is nearly as cheap and packs additional macros. I would add more soluble/insoluble fiber. Psyllium husk alone isn't sufficient.
