I used Turo to test a bunch of EVs a while back - I just priced in the Turo added insurance since mine didn't cover Turo (apparently Progressive does). We had a bunch of tough requirements so the deep investigation panned out nicely -

The newest Kia (Hyundai's sister brand) EV6 can also do massive V2L - can support 12kW power - combine that with a transfer switch, and your car doubles as your backup battery/generator.

I also had a reservation for one - at the $40K price. The product as released is specced lower, costs more than double, and has no shortage of major design flaws resulting in bricked vehicles. I obviously cancelled my order. I'm just

This video is incredible in describing why the British Empire did what it did in the Middle East and the resulting decades-long disaster [1]. Note this is a small portion of a longer 2h video you can find. Absolutely fascinating historical

A while back my 240v plug burnt out so while I waited for my electrician to fix it, we were forced to use 110v (we have 2 EVs) and it was manageable (I have a long commute but hybrid in-office).

EA is struggling with charger outages but they're improving. The real story is the L2 players providing a lot more L3 sites (EVgo, ChargePoint).

Absolute minimum would be working with Tesla to ensure your vehicles are permitted to charge at SuperChargers but require your customers to buy an adapter ($200) so free adapter is definitely a step up in my book. I'm not sure what ins

This sounds really interesting - they've decided to make their new stores a place to visit not just to shop but as a place to learn (clearly leading to more shopping). Stores used to rely on other mall properties to do the 2nd part but

The country where Unitree is based has not been in a major war in the past 30-40 years. Sure companies based in the western world can take inspiration from this but given the US-China conflict apparently in the works, it seems the advance
