I used Turo to test a bunch of EVs a while back - I just priced in the Turo added insurance since mine didn't cover Turo (apparently Progressive does). We had a bunch of tough requirements so the deep investigation panned out nicely - only spent a couple of thousand and got to road trip with several nice vehicles and family had a strong favorite which we bought (used). I'm fairly sure people who rent the cars on Turo need a specific insurance program but not sure if they cover these kinds of events.
