I guess I don't even follow what this means, does every single stop light where someone could possibly turn left now have the green arrow in your town? That seems ridiculous to me, coming from a city where thousands or tens of thousand

I forgot about this but it truly is horrible. Mine somehow gets into a state that not only required rebooting my phone but also restarting my car stereo.

Honestly the cloud push doesn't bother me, although I'd suspect I don't go about it the way Google wants. I host my own Subsonic media server which means that I can just set a cache size in Android (5GB right now) and let it

The price is certainly right, but I really don't feel like the specs are any kind of leap that makes me want to upgrade from my Nexus 5. Hexa-core is neat, but honestly I'd rather have software polish that meant rotating my phone

That doesn't surprise me, Lenovo seem to be working hard to become the next HP in terms of hardware quality. I recently spent hours and hours trying to get a Thinkstation to boot with ECC memory that it specifically listed as supportin

Whoever wrote this doesn't seem to quite understand how bit math works. "IPv6 addresses are 128 bits long, compared to 32 bits long for IPv4. In other words, IPv6 addresses are 296 times more numerous than IPv4 addresses."

And here I was hoping the meat of the blog post would actually be in the post. Nope, just a teaser for part two. Also, why is this submission marked "2011"? It was apparently written today.

$83 million in unsold phones is a lot of inventory. I wonder if they'll end up sold on Woot or plowed into a landfill a la E.T.

you would still need to have ports forwarded to the NAS from the internet, a compromised router, or the NAS connected directly to the open internet. All of which are a bad idea.

$324 million divided among 64,000 people is only about $5000. Once "legal overhead" has taken place I wouldn't be surprised if that number was more like $2000. I think the judge has some grounds for questioning the lowness of
