The implicit yield points you're talking about is sleep or wait ( noop in other terms). It's also not exactly a yield, it calls the scheduler to tell it to schedule (meaning the scheduler could decide to run again the exact s

I'm a bit surprised if I understand you correctly. I though a goroutine would run and hold the thread until any kind of sleep. edit: Oh but there might be no "core.async sleep" in most of clojure libraries like IO/net

What's the difference between core.async go blocks and goroutine please, I thought they would be the same to a reasonable extent?

I think I see a strong reason now. It's kind of hard practically speaking to judge the content of porn (is it legal, illegal, violent, reasonably healthy, consented, etc), so better block it all together.

I've always wondered: what's wrong with a child watching porn? (real question) Is it bad psychologically? Do we have study to back this up? I've been exposed to porn at quite a young age, say 10, never though it'd armed

Cx? Dzy? Those names were meaningless. A programmer doesn't rely on variable names to understand what the machine does, or very little. The contrary is a myth. In other terms, you always check what a variable contains anyway. That be

I didn't wanted to say # node in the ast . The presentation or the variable names doesn't matter in terms of less code I believe. Whitney's code is obfuscated which is distinct from less code imo. To some extent. Succinct

Now I think you're right, but there is two strategies which boils down to the following: "you can either make a program that's so complex there is no obvious defect, or you can make a program so simple it's obvious there

The original textures were done by Adrian Carmack. I think he's a genius as much as John. He was capable of making a difficult theme really work: a mix between dark future and fantasy. Specially fantasy with guns is terribly difficult

I've started drawing Tintin :) What's great with Tintin is that it teaches you basic 3d stuff. Basic 3d buildings for example, or streets. Basic 3d clothes and characters.

I'm the type of candidate you describe, I think. I'm concerned. Does the average hiring manager wants a good candidate or a candidate who makes him look good? The way I see it, it's mostly the former, even with people I respe
