I am still Far as my primary file manager and quick viewer/editor when I'm on Windows, and I've tried far2l (which is great) but for some reason when I'm on macOS my brain just switches and I'm back in Finder.

Our primary issue is that our DB is a dynamic Entity-Attribute-Value schema, even quite a bit denormalized at that. The model has to remember to do subqueries to retrieve "attributes" based on what's needed for the query and

For 2. we ended up stuffing the prompt with examples for common date ranges "this month", "last year", "this year to date" and some date math, and examples of date fields (we have timestamp, and extracted Year,

We did something similar for our reporting service which is based duckdb. Overall it works great, though we've ran into a few things: * Even with low temperature, GPT-4 sometimes deviates from examples or schema. For example, sometimes

Are there any good write ups for LLM prompt engineering for beginners? Would love to recommend something to our Javascript developers - like this repo is great, but the basics are definitely getting lost in the python code

While 400 TPS might not be huge, there is still a lot of processing that goes into placing each order, and it's easy to underestimate the necessary capacity. Latencies add up (a call to a tax service, a call to a shipping service, etc)

I still have the old 2.30 book signed by Ton from the original fundraiser, so glad it all worked out great. May be it's time to finally let go of 2.7 keymap and learn the new one :-\

Great write up for all the pitfalls and gotchas that come up when dealing with proper interactions For something more "out of the box", I've been using interactjs for quite a while for a variety of my projects

I was wondering about the same, how much of prompts is just fluff and padding that does not have a substantial effect on results. As programmers, we create languages that are brief and concise, which natural languages are not Like, "ex

It's definitely not for everyone. I'm on the fence, for example, I do like the utility based approach, but TW breaks a number of my common workflows. For example the feedback loop - I can't quickly add or change a few classes
