We had a ton of formal modeling classes back in college, but about the only two concepts that stuck with me and still being used when we need to document something are the UML sequence diagrams and a somewhat less known IDEF0 activity diagr

I think most concerns come a lot from the point of view of trust that the converter does the right thing. If I take a designer XD file, convert it to Figma and give it to a developer for implementation, I want to be sure that they don’t was

Hard agree. I like the converter idea, but having used similar tools in the past (Avocode and others), there are always some kind of minor but annoying issues. Having a preview or a trial would be good to have to avoid surprises later.

Upgrading to Vue 3 and Vite soon, is there a danger in having different dev vs production build tools?

There is a great comparison between various terminals' latency https://danluu.com/term-latency/ (it comes up periodically on HN too - https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=19443076 ), so once when I

Does it still use RDP for connectivity? I want to like these cloud workstations but typing latency just doesn’t make it very enjoyable I have a local dev station that I connect to over wifi, but Windows RDP is still pretty laggy over wifi.

Looks nice! Though I like a similar design from Xtia, where they put GPU parallel to MB, making the whole thing quite a bit more compact.

I wish there was a feature or an app that would prevent moving and lock windows in place instead of this. For example, Spark (email) annoys me cause you can drag the window by dragging the search box, so sometimes clicking that to focus cau

Same, I hoped that it had some real time capabilities. I really wanted to have it tracking an object, heck I would settle for mapping a rotating display, but it turned out to be rather limited. I kind of liked my LF2 as an all-in-one unit t

The only reason I moved from Monosnap is that it started making 32bit-per-component (so 16 bytes per pixel) images on Catalina for me recently. Word doesn’t like those, emails size exploded, etc.
