You can. If you have a `.git` in your import path, it should just work OOTB, using Git as expected. Otherwise, whatever code hosting service has to implement support for returning a proprietary meta tag when serving a ?go-get=1 query - and

OVH might give you 'unmetered' traffic, but their connectivity _sucks_. Hetzner's 20TB/mo is equivalent to a constant measly ~60Mbps, but at least you'll reliably get this rate to most of the Internet, and very ofte

There is no need for any sniffing for the above scenario to happen. It’s literally just using the P2P nature of bittorrent to get peers’ IP addresses (you can do that too! Just start any torrent and look at the peers tab in your client), th

For secrecy and access, just relying on end-user keys and encryption is not good enough for me - e2e encryption UX is tricky (key management, backup, access from multiple devices, onboarding), and tends to turn less technically minded users

Noted. The single numerical namespace, from a technical perspective, is a double-edged sword. On one hand, you need to have a single, monotonically-increasing-ish number in your model, which is annoying when trying to design a globally dist
