I wonder if teaching kids the law is a better investment. Many people including myself seem naive to the way the legal system really works. I guess there are already enough lawyers, but at the same time lawyers are very expensive.

It deserves to be explored. A lot of research is just applying existing techniques to problems with a few tweaks and documenting the results. I did not read the paper, but it could be that the authors find it is not effective.

Countries really need to internalize their it needs and infrastructure. It is good for the local economy and is an investment in its people . I definitely tend to agree with the outsourcing piece. I would guess that probably has more impact

Right, but for in person work there are constraints like visa, minimum wage, and then paying into social security. I wonder if there is no option like that if the person is remote. Seems like a loophole if so.

If the sub entity is us based would it not have to respect us laws ? I wonder if it is because they are remote and not physically in the United States. Even still I wonder if companies need to be audited on this.
