Lots of reasons and I'd be happy to share. 1. I'm from the advertising industry. There's a reason Prada sells jeans for $300 and Old Navy's are $30, and we're not targeting Old Navy shoppers with this app. 2. I believe we're selling a rathe

We're half way there, but it's missing the automated messaging aspects of girlfriendapp. I wonder how girlfriendapp displays who the messages are from, AFAIK the SDK doesn't allow for tight integration with SMS. Nevertheless, ideas are stir

I use to be into baseball cards back in the old days, but then I turned into a geek and they were no longer of interest. An entrepreneur from the early days is capitalizing on the baseball card problem with one of their online games, and th

I second the softer feel, the Feathers seem a lot less stiff than the common merkur blades I was using. They also feel sharper, I think the blade conforms better against my boney face and less irritation. I've been meaning to order this ac

I know a few people using Dusty's service, for most it covered the hosting bills and has much better returns than Google AdSense. He's putting a lot of energy into making it even better. I suggest diversifying your ad real estate, at least

I am very obsessed with safety razors. Been hooked on it for about 2 years now and haven't gone back: 1) save a ton of money 2) feel like I have that "best shave of my life" at least once a week. 3) local product I use is much better for th

No it's not fool's gold, startups are generating millions in revenue from both. They are simply a reflection of a globalized market place, you're competing with developers in under developed countries. What's fool's gold to you, is riches t

Surprised they don't have SilverStripe listed on there, that's a great up and coming open source CMS that I've used numerous times when clients demand more out of WP. http://silverstripe.org It's lot more flexible than WP but the admin in

I firmly agree with both of your points, pclark and mfish. Marketing is the missing piece for a lot of developers, but having tried a fair amount of marketing ourself (news interviews, print/newspaper, blogs, etc.) — there are some inherent

Dear Mr. Jobs, please fix the AppStore approval process before you do anything else. I can live with the extra dot for missed calls, I actually like being reminded to call them back after listening to a voice mail.

Similar situation. No cable. 720p projector + 100" fixed mounted screen. PS3. Wii. Netflix. Roku. I love movies but cable is overpriced and overrated. Until it's a la carte, I'll stick to IPTV or OTAHD.
