Is this evidence that micro plastics are a serious health concern? If breathing air after it has flowed over foam is bad, we are slowly exposing ourselves to the same chemicals in hundreds of other ways.

I am not arguing against biking, just pointing out that with current materials, there is still pollution emitted. As you said, cars are likely exponentially worse. Shoes have the same problem, except for some very expensive artisan brands.

While some banking apps do this, I wouldn't call it common. I have ~10 bank/brokerage apps on my GrapheneOS device and they all work just fine.

postmarketOS. It installs pretty much the same as any Android ROM. Once your bootloader is unlocked, you just flash it with fastboot.

If this is true, it is impressive the door stayed attached to the plane as long as it did. If they really forgot to install all of the bolts intended to hold it in place, I would have expected to to fail much sooner.

I agree. There have always been highly skilled programmers capable of reverse engineering imessage, but everybody knew it would immediately get shutdown and not be worth the effort.

Pump it from where though? It would be easy to pump and reuse the water that already goes through the locks, except that it gets mixed with salt water, so putting it back in the lake would quickly contaminate it.

Batteries produce electricity through a chemical reaction. When it is colder, that reaction creates less electricity. If you fully charge a battery, freeze it, then warm it back up, it will still be close to fully charged.

I remember the prices seeming comparatively much higher in Alaska/Hawaii in the past. Fast food prices have gone up so much everywhere that shipping to these places likely represents a lower percentage of the total cost now.

In prior incidents, I have heard it takes years before belongings left on the plane are returned. Devices sucked out of the aircraft seem like they would be more relevant than other items. 49 CFR § 830.10 appears to be one of the regulation
