I read this advice as more from a perspective of the person who emails someone inbox-unorganized. So if person A is unorganized with their emails and I need or want something from them I'd better followup (for my own sake, to get the m

Thanks for the honesty. And Estonia had a cheaper gas when they were part of the USSR. Any actual freedoms they might or might not have back then are only _bs political slogans_.

I don’t know if like the spoiled grain analogy. If my stock portfolio was worth $1000 yesterday and is only $800 we don’t say the $200 was destroyed. I have the same number of stock. It may go down further, but it can also go up to say $110

I enjoyed reading The Verge by P. Wyman https://www.amazon.com/Verge-Reformation-Renaissance-Forty-Y... It describes changes that happened in war, mining, shipping, trade in (mostly western) Europe in the last decades of XV

What I don't understand looking at the article is how > “signals” of potential fraud turned into 100k EUR fines. Shouldn't the "signal" only flag suspect transfers and start in-person investigation? Or did they just s

Nice post, I like how it addresses only a chunk of the problem and walks the reader through it. What’s a bit unclear to me, is why do we need the Java version of the _types_ library. Looks like the humbleui already depends on clojure.

I’d say the opposite, there needs to be a delta between values and actual behavior. I want to be a good husband, dedicated employee, etc. Am I? I’d like to think more often than not. But we all err, and I value the transparency/courage
