You're right they're on the eastern interconnect, which is even larger and harder to reason about. Edit: After the 2003 blackouts the Eastern interconnect got much more... connected https://upload.wikimedia.org/wik

Title insurance is great... if you're buying a property, but not for monitoring the liens registered against it once you own it.

In most places it's quite annoying to identify what liens are even on a property. Take a trip to the country treasurer's office and spend an afternoon reading through property records from 1850.

The 0.08/kWh includes delivery, it's more like 0.04/kWh without delivery.

Their example is California, where electricity prices are about 0.40-0.65/kWh. Sole source advanced cycle natural gas plants are about 0.08/kWh. That's quite a lot of cost.

An indoor CO2 meter that never goes outside will be miscalibrated almost immediately. They have self calibration routines that assume they see atmospheric CO2 levels at least once either per day or per week If it's always inside that a

Salaries in the US are substantially higher then Canada. Switch to the purchasing power index to get a more clear view of the relative wealth of people in the countries.

Of course it's falsifiable, start prosecuting again and see if the arrest rate goes up.

Yes because the police stop arresting people for it. If you don't prosecute, it effectively stops being illegal.

In California to do a controlled burn you needed(need?) to schedule it way in advance because of environmental review. Sounds fine, except that CARB can declare that day a clean air day and ban burns on the same day. Both of these things in

I don't know if this fixes it, but fallout 1 on faster cpus has issues with event timing on the map. If your cpu is too fast it's basically impossible to play because of the frequency of encounters.

It's quite often cheaper to purchase a completely new unit than to fix an old unit. Factory supplied parts disappear fairly rapidly after products are end-of-life and labor to repair can be quite expensive.

Did I miss it or does this not actually say what the cost of methane priced by them is? I see H2, DC power, and CO2 DAC, costs but no total.
