I don't know if this fixes it, but fallout 1 on faster cpus has issues with event timing on the map. If your cpu is too fast it's basically impossible to play

If your cpu is too fast it's basically impossible to play because of the frequency of encounters.
- soupfordummies 2y agoEven if I get the GOG version? Just curious, I see that it's only like 3 bucks right now. I've never used GOG though, I thought their schtick was that the games are optimized for modern compatibility?
