Right. I'm genuinely not trying to make a judgement on the choice - it's just not the choice I'm used to seeing, including in JS environments. So it seems like there must be some reasoning behind it. I suppose that's tru

When I try and check out their new page linked from here, I'm getting a certificate error. It looks like it's only issued for Netlify subdomains. Minor, but kinda annoying. One question I have about Rome is why it tries to take on

Missing the forest for the trees perhaps here. Oh well! I too am a big fan of oatmeal. Funny enough, I like it a bit different than the author does. Particularly, I enjoy it with a less runny/liquid texture, and I don't submerge i

I have been eating similarly to the parent poster recently (trying to avoid meat and dairy as much as possible). The three major sources of protein I use now are black beans, kidney beans, peanut butter, and tofu. I also sometimes eat tempe

I agree with your point. In addition, this book also suggests ideas that, in my opinion, are so far away from the minds of an average person that it's kind of absurd. Admittedly it's been years since I've read the book, but o

I agree! I'm definitely an amateur when it comes to networking stuff. At the time, the _only_ issue I had was with all of my Digital Ocean droplets. It was confusing because I was able to get to them through my LTE connection and not a

I don't have a Volt, but rather a 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid, which I got new. Currently has somewhere around 135-140k miles on it. I don't have hard numbers, but the batteries seem to still be in decent shape. The biggest work I&#x

I wouldn't call it an anxiety really, but I've obtained some new perspective. I went from primarily working on app frontend for years using JS, and into a more API backend-ish role using .NET Core. In the former, dependency trees

Fair enough! I didn't comprehend the context well enough. Seems right though, the Yubikey won't protect sessions. At least I don't see any reason it would.

Every time you login with a Yubikey you must tap it. It does not maintain its own session on the key or anything like that. If the app maintains a session, then that depends on how long the app allows sessions/tokens to live for at tha

I definitely agree with this. I think this is one of the hardest parts of doing IF. Removing the typical dinner for me personally would be a big change, let alone trying to explain to my partner, family, and friends.

Though it does briefly mention it at the end, one detail I'm uncertain about with this and where they mention intermittent fasting is how much the times of days matter? Some basic posts I've read about IF essentially say that they

Same here! My main change was getting an SSD. If you're in this boat, I highly recommend it. If I wanted to really push it, upgrading to 8GB of RAM would probably make it work extremely well. It's nice to have things that run well
