Switching to gokrazy[0] was the best thing I did for my Raspberry Pi uptimes. I think a lot of that is because it defaults to using read-only partitions so the common issue of SD cards falling over when you run apt upgrade no longer happens

I love this work, but I will point out that the Asahi GPU driver still struggles on certain real world workloads. The one I run into quite often is that Google Maps will hang for long periods of time. This is a known issue and they are work

Yeah the Android version has been out for a few years[1][2]. There's an iOS target that works as well, I've just never published it to the app store. Every time I start that process I get annoyed at how hostile Apple is to open so

I tried using kitty recently. Its really neat, until you try to sshing somewhere. If the remote system doesn't have kitty in its terminfo, nothing works. Kitty's "solution" to this is to use a custom ssh wrapper, which I

It sounds like your organization has a bunch of problems. I'm sorry to hear that. But I don't think you can really blame those on ssh. There are plenty of organizations and individuals that can competently run ssh directly on the

Are we just speculating? SSH scanners are not sources of DDoS. Large companies have ssh bastions on the internet and do not worry about ssh DDoS. Its not really a thing that happens. You don't need to freak out if you see a bunch of fa

Pre-auth sshd vulnerabilities are extremely rare and are not what ssh scanners are looking for.

It would be nice if the visualization reflected the information you've shared here (including both the absolutes and the amount of change). Then it wouldn't feel misleading and you would not need to write explainer comments on HN.

I cross compile mattn/go-sqlite3 a lot. It's about the easiest cgo project to cross compile since it has no external dependencies. Just use zig as your c compiler and it all just works.

Android passkeys return `fmt:none` as well if you ask for an attestation certificate. Its pretty weird to claim that this is a big lock-in risk when both of the major players are not supporting attestation certificates for consumer use case
