Maybe OP meant 35. I have those since they came out (2016) and they are still going strong with daily use. I've replaced the earpads once for about $15 in parts. Battery life is reduced of course but not by much and I plan to replace t

Agreed. But ideally the cameras are available as input to the phone which can then also be your dashcam with cloud upload.

No infotainment doesn't mean no safety. Keep the fancy airbags and traction control, adaptive cruise control etc. Just throw out the garbage custom navigation and radio. It never works well. The display should be simply used for carpla

You are both right, it was a childish comment that I can no longer edit. Sorry. I do disagree ignoring them is the best. This gives them an echo chamber here and can others can get the impression they are always right. The attack was not he

We had apple passkey posts over the last few months with people salivating over it but suddenly they hear google and suddenly the feature is evil from the start. I'm not defending passkeys but you people need to pick a side to shill fo

It probably makes more sense to account the costs for building superchargers in car sales and profits, rather than the electricity costs. More cars than chargers, much higher profit margin and it gives brand value driving future sales. Alth

Sorry but paywalled content is really not a valid argument. I agree with you that there is value in kABI stability, but this comment does nothing to convince others. Do you have a better freely accessible resource?

Why do you group kitchen scale anywhere near the other gadgets, that is a super basic and essential equipment everyone has already. Except for the lunatics writing recipes with imperial volume measurements for dry goods of course.

During the JWST streams I recall hearing this is why they went with the Ariane 5 as it is the most reliable launch platform. It might not be fancy, reusable or even fastest or most powerful, but it will reliably lift the payload, not explod

How? The cable is point to point. (Well ok there is branching but let's ignore that) So you know those two endpoints are talking. Not about what. And this is trivial to bypass by always sending, regardless of whether there is data to s

That's better but still wrong. I have just two eyeballs, but many usernames. Some are tied to each other, some are not. Eyeballs are just eyeballs and just like any biometric horrible idea for anything beyond local-access verification.

I just tried search for #cnc and mostly got machining content, with bits of non-English stuff I don't understand but looked innocent enough. What sort of content did you see?

The pin space is just too small. What's the longest an user is willing to wait? 10 seconds? Times 10k that is just 27 hours. Spend a couple of bucks on a few beefy EC2 instances and you crack that in an hour or two.

Blender has nice UX (the new versions, used to be horrible) but sadly what is holding opensource CAD back for me is the poor constraints and parametric modeling backend. Anything beyond simple polyhedra and booleans runs into a problem. Fil
