I've had a project idea similar to this in the backlog for years: personalized signature generator that can be used to deal with dinosaurs that still want printed, scanned and signed documents. Basically I want to take a pdf, turn it i

Two weeks to detect (not great), another month to disclose (worse). "Only" 35k affected so must be some narrow scope. The linked page doesn't seem to provide more details.

I couldn't find what is the size of the RSA key used. Any chance it is small enough to be broken today with bunch of cloud instances and few $100 [1] to spare? It was almost 20 years after all. Of course cloning another disk is simpler

I tried waxing (just rub with plain old candle) the sliding surfaces, it helped a bit but didn't last long. However the wax helps during assembly, putting tight joints together.

I bought/got gifted a couple of these sets, just a warning for anyone looking to buy: The quality varies a lot piece to piece. Forget Lego-like perfect snap and alignment, you will be sanding basically everything to make it fit. The mo

Agreed. But I feel like that is still a step ahead of RPi where you get random firmware blobs for the GPU without which it won't even boot.

Looks pretty good opensource-wise, right? Some linux fork with ton of patches but hopefully most of that will get upstreamed, and except that I found no weird blobs or proprietary crap.

Clearly given it was reopened after providing more details this was a misunderstanding or triage mistake. Given the volume of reports this must happen all the time, and was resolved here as expected.

Maybe I'm misreading the article but it sounds like even when just copying data from cartridge to vram there isn't enough time to get 60fps, no matter how fast your emulator hardware is. However, I guess that is a problem for arbi
