You trusted them with that access yesterday, and they are not being fired for cause (eg. stealing company secrets), so why don't you trust them today? This sort of thing only really happens in US companies (see lots of other comments i

Once a year around black Friday I start a new prime trial, order a bunch of heavily discounted stuff and cancel the membership. I'm pretty sure there aren't sufficient margins and they are losing money on my order (with the hope m

Yet. Spotify and others are certainly trying. I'm happy to see resistance and continued growth of the open ecosystem but we shouldn't take it for granted.

I assume you mean the head of the toothbrush but what about my head? The IMU data is relative to earth (kinda). But toothbrush position over teeth is relative to my head. Moving around and turning your head gets added to the IMU measurement

How's the latency? I like the idea and might set that up but my residential ISP doesn't have great peering and latency isn't great. I wonder if that extra roundtrip would be noticable or not.

This follows the best practice of submitting a link and posting your opinion in a comment to stand on its own. This way we can all judge which viewpoint we agree with independently.

I feel great, for example when local ISPs or seedbox providers take DMCA notices and flush them down the toilet. (Yes, not the same as court order but same story)

In Go you rely on convention that if err != nil, the other value is meaningless and should not be used. You have to remember to check this, and some interfaces break this convention and use eg. error+some partial value, or nil+nil or other

I agree with the title, though the age example in the article isn't great. One of the things I see often in code reviews is the wrong use of product types where sum type would be better. Things like returning error and value separately

What would be the rough cost of equipment and consumables required to do DNA sequencing for say 10 people? Assuming similar genome coverage as 23andme gets. Last time I researched it the estimate was 5-6 digits, but I'm sure technology
