Git and Xstow. I have a small shell script that parses the xstow.ini file and creates all the directories I have listed under the [keep-dirs] directive in order to prevent it from deleting empty directories or replacing them with links.

I looked up the Google drive pricing and the costs increase quickly over that 100GB level. I'm going to use 3TB of data for my example because that is approximately the amount of data I would be backing up at work. The cost for Google

What is your definition of off the grid? I can't help but think you are being pedantic here. He mentions he could dig a well, but it's more cost effective to have water shipped in. As far as Internet access I'm sure that he n

I'm confused by which metric Australia is bigger then America? Since America is like 25% larger in landmass and has more people in some of its larger states than the entire population of Australia.

Thanks for the suggestions. Frankly though I would be looking for something available that we can build larger and smaller pieces with. I was looking and we've built a few standing desks, for example we built a 96"x42" sit&#x

I see lots of diy cheap standing desks on here. Is there a market for high end standing desks? I work for a small casegoods manufacturer that builds wood furniture to order. I'm just curious if I should bother taking a shot at designin

Something about this comment is really bugging me and I'm not sure what it is. I think I'm in agreement that giving people unnecessary medical procedures is probably a bad idea. Maybe it's just because I don't understand

Lets take your tar example. The -z and -x options are flags, they specify binary on/off options. You can specify all the flags separately on the command invocation like so: $ tar -x -z -f foo.tar.gz However typing -flag -flag2 -
