What is your editor of choice? Go to definition has worked for Ruby in Sublime for a long time. I actually can't remember a time it didn't work.

By opposite, I was just saying that it's not people afraid of white nationalists, but rather conservatives afraid of liberals disdain.

For a while, it was Ruby's ease of use with C's performance. I believe that now they're trying to reduce marketing that relies on Ruby and present more as an independent language (which it is).

Are you implying that these people agreeing with his decision are from white nationalist orgs? Or that they fear people from those orgs? If 1, that seems unlikely that would be the majority of people. If 2, well, that's the opposite of

If you're thinking of the inconsistency of the suggested contacts, it is based on content, source app, etc. For pictures, there's even analysis of picture contents. All on device. Unfortunately, there's no way to remove someo

The fact that WFH under current circumstances is close to WFO under normal circumstances, I think that's vindication for WFH.

I think the biggest reason for lack of sympathy from anyone is that the platform was completely stagnant for years. I've been on there as a runner for a long time, and by the time there was any compelling reason to pay, those features

Karabiner Elements is really popular for this use case. I have Caps set to be escape when pressed and Hyper in conjunction with pressing another key.

There's no evidence that it's likely to be over soon, in fact, most suggests the opposite. Also, it's either completely ignorant or just highly asinine to suggest anyone besides yourself is at more risk from loss of privacy t

It's a great question, but over the last couple weeks, it's clear (from a number of topics) that 95% of HN would rather have completely perfect privacy more than safety. It seems that counter to things like freedom of speech, ther

I was part of this exact scenario once. Unsurprisingly, people still thought it was a terrible way to do it. Personally, I agree with you and this strategy though.

I would just expect that if they want it to be a major feature, to dogfood it themselves. If it would be a long process to migrate, then how could they expect anyone else to migrate with the state of the feature?

I just went through the process of setting up GH Actions to replace Circle CI for a Rails app. It was depressingly inflexible, considering that GH is a Rails app, and I would have expected it to be straightforward. I have done elaborate pip

This is correct. I live in Tucson and am quite familiar with Raytheon (having been recruited and know numerous employees as they are the biggest employer here). They are not going to be hiring remote developers from Ireland. In all likeliho

They've been bad all season, there's no reason for the attendance numbers to change now. The more interesting thing is that they're the top team in the league for revenue per home game.
