I think your title and your description may already show a little problem: You say you're lookin for a GA alternative, but what if GA was never the right tool for your use case, to begin with? Your use case description is pretty minima

Honest question (slightly unrelated): Why use k8s for this use case? In my naive understanding, k8s is useful when services need to dynamically scale up/down. But in a HomeLab there will probably never be more than one instance require

Zustand is great! It is tiny and flexible (it allows you to use Flux pattern – or not, depending on your preference). It's my go-to state management solution for new React projects.

What's the reason for this post? Any news? New release? Jitsi is wonderful anyway, and it's my favorite Video solution these days. No comparison to Big Blue Button, which has horrible UX in my experience.

The fact that we’ve gotten used to these kinds of records is amazing. Elon Musk is a stupid dipshit, but what the people at SpaceX achieved is incredible. Relaunching boosters 15 times and launching 3 rockets within 34 hours is such an incr

What OP is building is not a typical "flat file CMS". Flat File CMS are typical CMS systems (often times written in PHP) that run on the server, but use files (often Markdown/Frontmatter) as their data backend (instead of a D

The lack of options in this space really baffles me. Statically generated websites are everywhere and have been popular for many years. Gatsby, Next, Hugo, Jekyll, 11ty, Astro, etc. Yet, there is a lack of visual editing interfaces for Mark

I totally disagree. Git is a great way to store documentation. Also „Git“ and „Wiki“ are not opposites. You can have a wiki AND store content in git at the same time.

I agree with your sentiment, but by no means does nuclear power "have no carbon footprint". It's still a very carbon-friendly technology, but it's definitely not carbon free. (See: https://en.m.wikipedia.org&#

I guess most of your "wanted" list is easily achievable, except the first one: There is just no self-hostable product for photo management that comes close to Apple/Google in terms of reliability, feature set and ease of use.

Give them a chance. I was under the same impression until a couple of years ago. Now I think Firefox Developer Tools are far superior. But I can only speak for the Inspector/DOM/CSS related stuff. These are just great!

The title of this post is annoying: Typically we say "faster broadband", when we talk about bandwidth, not about "speed" (which would be latency). So obviously, as long as your website is not larger than your bandwidth c
