I am 36 years old. My infancy, much less my memory, began too late to see the last visit. Mark Twain was born as the comet reached its perihelion, and joked - a year or so before the next - that having come in with it he should go out with

The article and video trumpet the curiosity-based approach: you tell the robot to be "curious" about the door handle, and give a reward when the task of passing through the door is complete, and magic happens. I'm comfortable

Correct me if I'm wrong: we can avoid the idea of a master for this use case because we suppose that only a single client (also server, I guess) will write at a time?

When I was a kid we had a pseudoscience documentary about the Sphinx, narrated by Charlton Heston. They took the appealing argument that the surface looks like it's been eroded by water and extended that to conclude that it must have b

Surely not for the same role that would pay $90k, though, unless they just don't have titles in any useful sense.

Even for units that aren't priced directly using RealPage's offering, RealPage units are comps. Formal collusion isn't the only means by which rents might rise in tandem across a market.

I sweat enough that it makes the faux leathers pretty gross. This is an bigger issue for my home chairs as I don't bother to put a shirt on before hopping on the internet. In an office, while the chair at my desk probably stays there f

My company is building in the same space as Tier - in fact our offering looks close to identical. The problem we've faced so far is catching buyers who want to solve this problem, the deeper, underlying issue, rather than the problem t

My cofounder and I raised an absurd sum at a valuation which was pretty insane during the last months of the zero interest rate environment. We had months of no interest in the idea, then we got one term sheet, and then we had three term sh
