Care to expand on this? Edit: Based on the downvotes, I'm guessing I wasn't really clear what I was going for - I hadn't heard about the International Committee before, so I was looking for some more information about how the

It's not a cure, it's a treatment. Ketamine, I do believe, is an animal tranquilizer. Not being a veterinarian, I don't know much about that application. However, in humans it has shown tremendous benefit as an analgesic and

Er... "excited delirium" is both very real and very serious, a constellation of symptoms due to another underlying process (e.g., drugs, usually of the illicit nature). It can generally be treated well with Ketamine.

I would characterize that experience, instead, as very, very poorly implemented. A properly implemented "active learning" environment simply puts the impetus on the students to be pro-active. Whether that's buying outside m

I am 29 now, and I'll be 31 when I graduate. I just started 3rd year. If you're not familiar, after medical school (4 years), you have to complete a residency in order to become board certified. Residencies last anywhere from 3

The problem is not medical school spots, it's residency spots. Having medical school graduates is useless if they can't get licensed or board certified.

Having studied both at this point, I'd agree. I think most of my learning in CS tends to be experimentation - write some programs, see why they don't work. Sure, there's some things you need to memorize and understand, but
