Being successful enough that any amount of downtime is an existential risk is a great problem to have. 99.99% don't have that problem; even huge successful businesses can survive unplanned downtimes (see: recent major outages). It'

If you can confidently get it done with docker-compose, you shouldn't even think about using k8s IMO. Completely different scales. K8s isn't for running containers, it's for implementing complex distributed systems: tenancy&#

I'm a huge proponent of factually investigating what happened on Oct 7, 2023--who killed who--but sadly the Israeli regime is not. They would rather paper it over and leverage it as atrocity propaganda to commit a genocide, then invest

I think you are needlessly conflating terms. My original comment was correct that you need to explicitly package your builds for many different distro package managers, if you want to go that route. That's a lot of work to maintain. Or

A distro is not strictly an OS. Ubuntu and RHEL can both run a Go binary built for Linux amd64 but they have completely different package managers.

> the Hamas Charter's goal is to kill all Jews This is blood libel, murderous propaganda. There is nothing of this sort in the current Hamas charter.

HL3 is under active development though. If that's a success I'm sure they'd try a Portal 3 as well.

You don't have to be Israeli or Jewish to be a (widely-despised) Zionist or regurgitate their murderous propaganda.

Sure, but there's also an argument for wrapping your pure Rust or Go executable in the thinnest layer of Python so that your users can optionally `pip install` it.

"And" therefore OpenAI has little to offer when it comes to serious applications of AI. Best they can hope for is getting acquired by MS for pennies when this scheme collapses.

Sure, GPT-5 is pretty good. So are a dozen other models. It's nowhere near the "scary good" proto-AGI that Altman was fundraising on prior to its inevitable release.

AI having societally useful impact is 100% about the data and overall training process (and robotics...), of which raw compute is a relatively trivial and fungible part. No amount of reddit posts and H200s will result in a model that can cu
