Equity percentage graphs of a large number of companies, with no additional information, are completely useless information. I'd much rather have 0.01% of Google than 1% of whatever your startup is.

This Medium post summarizes my take on this statement better than I can. TLDR "I can’t directly say the allegations are false." https://medium.com/@frabyn/decoding-jake-appelbaum-9fa75d060...

I'm not sure why people would have thought that Meredith and Andrea were biased. All they said was "Jacob was accused of sexual harassment", and they said it before the Tor release confirming exactly what they said. On the o

Why are you so certain the website is slander (which, as a legal term, requires that the accusations are false)? And various other people who have negative personal experiences with Appelbaum, are their statements false as well? http:

People saying why they think he is guilty isn't the same as being treated as guilty. In this case, the people did talk to his superiors, and they appear to have done as little as legally possible about it until there were public stat

You might not have been arguing that it was related to the government, but the two posts you were replying to sure did, so I assumed you were as well, apparently incorrectly. If there's anything else I've misinterpreted, you'

In addition to the mixed-gender pseudonyms, I think all the "Stories" have Applebaum's picture, rather than the person named. Which makes it hella confusing. I'm not entirely sure I believe there's more than one pe

You're correct that a "not guilty" verdict isn't the same thing as saying the person is innocent. But saying that "a guilty verdict ... does not prove he is guilty of what he has been accused" is splitting hair

No. You're basically saying that there's no evidence that it's a coordinated campaign (really, the fact that it was talked about on Twitter isn't evidence of anything at all), and that lack of evidence is why it has to b

The reason is because, for political reasons, large events can't charge the "market-efficient" price. Super Bowl tickets cost $850 to $1850 in face value, but resold for an average of about $5000. If tickets cost $5000 minim

So many people will believe anything a "hacker" says as long as it's bad for them. In general, these 100 million password dumps are almost always complete garbage, but everyone along the way says "better to be safe than

Telling people "not to blame the victim" is a completely useless way to avoid harassment. I couldn't possibly actively do that to avoid harassment if I tried, because it's not even an action. Unless I'm mistaken,

Why are so many people saying that if some developers write bad unit tests, then all unit tests are pointless and a waste of time? Yes, I've seen thousand line files of boilerplate unittests that don't actually say anything usef
