I don't see why RLS would mandate all your logic living in the DB level. Basically what the database does when you enable RLS is add the RLS policy clause to every query you run against a table that has the policy applied. So if you h

We use RLS on a multi-tenant application in production. It's used as a secondary level of protection that ensures that one tenant cannot see another tenant's data. The system hasn't been out in production for very long but,

Isn't age a factor? I don't understand if the study considered the age of the participants. So, could it be that the people who were vaccinated tended to be older and thus more vulnerable?

Hmm. That's an interesting idea. Seems like they are experts in building relatively small nuclear plants and maintaining them in harsh conditions for years. Wonder if it's feasible though. Maybe they are too slow to build. Maybe t

There are self-centered people from all countries. I used to feel good/bad depending on what people from my country/region/group etc. do. But it's so silly. Why do I care what another person does - whom I don't even

FWIW, I was not trying to pass a value judgement on whether Google, on net, is good or bad. It was just a thought I had when I saw the time lapse thing. But I don't think Google turned internet into a cesspit. Yes, Youtube's recom

That's pretty cool! Like it or not Google does all this with the ad money they bring in. Imagine if all Google service were subscription based. Will they even have 25% of the capabilities they have now?

If they had provided good benefits and working condition, the workers will not be incentivized to form unions, right? Why are they not doing that?

Wouldn't it be better for Amazon, in the long term to let workers get the best salary/benefits in the industry and even cooperate in their unionization efforts (if the workers want to)? Would it such a big hit to their bottom line
